Hillary Johnson would give the Golden Bears a two-goal cushion in the 35th minute when Nikki Hertel and Rachel Vitense combined to feed Johnson for the goal.

In the second half the Beavers would out shoot the Golden Bears 10-to-3 but didn’t get on the board until the 84th minute of play when Lauren Olivares (So., El Paso, Texas) and Christina Hicks (Jr., Minnetonka, Minn.) found Jamie Ford (Fr., Edina, Minn.) streaking for the Beavers first goal of the game and her fourth of the season.
