JAMESTOWN, N.D. -
Jamie Ford (So.,
Edina, Minn.) notched her third goal of the season as the Bemidji State
soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against Jamestown College Saturday
afternoon.
Ford scored in the 11th minute of action, and was assisted by Danielle Uphoff (So., Brainerd, Minn.) who notched her third helper of the year.
The
Beavers allowed only three shots on goal in the contest, but Ashlyn
White was able to score the unassisted equalizer in the 68th minute,

assists), and she has been catching fire lately, scoring all three of
her goals in the last six games.
Ford’s goal also moved her into a tie for ninth place all-time for goals scored in BSU history with eight for her career.
Bemidji State (6-6-3, 2-1-1 NSIC) outshot the Jimmies (6-6-1) 16-9, and had six corner kicks to JC’s four. Lauren Olivares (Jr., El Paso, Texas) led the way for BSU with four shots, and Ford had three.

(Fr., Stillwater, Minn.) had two saves for BSU and was untested for
much of the contest. Angela Veches had 10 saves while allowing
