The Dragons earned the victory by scores of 30-23, 30-24, and 30-16.

The combination of hitting below .100 and committing 35 errors played a huge part in the Beavers loss tonight. The Beavers hit at a pace of .093 (37k-25e-129at) their second worst hitting performance of the year, while the Dragons hit .323 (52k-11e-127at). Allison Kunde (So., S, Burnsville, Minn.) totaled 23 set assists for the Beaver offense while Alicia Beaman (Sr., S, St. Paul Park, MInn.) had 10 assists.

With the win the Dragons sweep the season series as the Dragons beat the Beavers in four games on Sept. 15 from the BSU Gymnasium.

The win lifts MSU Moorhead in the all-time series over BSU as the Dragons extended their lead to 61-55-1 over the Beavers since the series began in the fall of 1969. BSU is now 7-22 all-time at Alex Nemzek Hall on the campus of Minnesota State University Moorhead.

The Beavers are currently on a nine match losing skid versus the Dragons, dating back to October 4, 2003 and the Beavers have not beat the Dragons at Alex Nemzek Hall since October 20, 1999.
