Box Score BEMIDJI, Minn. (BSU Gymnasium) -- The Bemidji State University volleyball team fell to No. 3 Concordia-St. Paul 3-0 (6-25, 8-25, 10-25) Friday at BSU Gymnasium. The Beavers (5-19, 3-12 NSIC) were led by junior Jessica Yost who totaled six kills and senior Ashley Kiecker with 14 assists.
The Golden Bears took an early lead in each set, limiting the Beavers' attempt to control the match. BSU totaled 15 kills compared to CSP's 41. For the match, the Beavers totaled a -.046 hitting percentage while the Golden Bears recorded a .514 hitting percentage.
The Beavers dug 25 of the Golden Bears' 72 attacks and tallied 15 assists on as many kills for the team.
Amanda Tronick led BSU with seven digs while Kayle DeJong followed with six. Kiecker totaled 14 of the Beavers' 15 assists on the night.
Bemidji State hosts Minnesota State University, Mankato Saturday at 4 p.m. in BSU Gymnasium.
