SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Bemidji State University soccer team took an early lead in Sioux Falls, Saturday, but a pair of second half goals by Augustana University was too much for the Beavers as they dropped the NSIC match 2-1.

Bayley Ertl scored her team-leading ninth goal of the season in the 12th minute with help from Sarah Stram and Raquel Thelen, but that was all the offensive output the Beavers could manage. The Vikings out shot BSU 14-7 in the final 45 minutes of play and converted two of those shots into goals.

Anna Fobbe made saves on five of seven shots faced, but was tagged with the loss after allowing both AU goals.

The Beavers, now 9-4 overall and 7-3 in NSIC play, travel to Wayne State College tomorrow for a 1 p.m. conference matchup.
