Box Score MINOT, N.D. – The Bemidji State University volleyball team fell to Minot State University, 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-13) Saturday afternoon in Minot, N.D. The Beavers (3-21, 0-15 NSIC) were led by junior Sami Leach who tallied eight kills in the match while sophomore Julie Touchett added six.
Bemidji State was out-hit in the match 29 kills to 41 and hit at a .086 efficiency compared to .248 by Minot State.
Freshmen Becka Cronin and Becky Schroeder added four kills each while sophomore Shelby Haney led the team with 18 assists. Emma Hallmann led the back-court with 14 digs while Touchett, Maddie Filipiak and Cronin each had two blocks.
The Beavers have now lost 16 matches in a row and will look to break that streak by hosting University of Minnesota Crookston Tuesday, Oct. 31 for a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference match-up.
