Box Score BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University volleyball team fell in three sets (25-22, 25-15, 25-14) to Upper Iowa University Friday night at the BSU Gymnasium. The Beavers fall to 0-14 (0-6 NSIC) with the loss while the Peacocks improve to 11-4 (4-2 NSIC).
Bemidji State was led by junior Meeghen Dahlager who totaled six kills and hit .118 in the match. She was followed by sophomore Rylie Bjerklie who totaled five kills and hit .214 while sophomore Rilee Michaelson and freshman Lauren Sitter each added four while hitting at a .500 and .444 clip, respectively.
Freshman Emily coordinated the Beavers' attack and totaled 23 assists while also adding three kills and five digs defensively. Sophomore Lauren Justesen paced the Beavers defense with 10 digs while sophomore Maddie Siedenburg added six and also totaled four kills on the attack.
Bemidji State continues play at home tomorrow evening and hosts No. 11 Winona State University at 5 p.m.
