Box Score ST. PAUL, Minn. – Junior Meeghen Dahlager totaled six kills to lead the Bemidji State University volleyball team as the Beavers fell 3-0 (25-9, 25-15, 25-16) at No. 4 Concordia University-St. Paul Friday night in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action.
Senior Anna Averkamp and freshman Ashley Crowl followed Dahalager after each recorded four kills in the match while sophomore Rylie Bjerklie followed with three. The Beavers hit -0.03 as a team while Bjerklie paced BSU by hitting .333 in six attacks.
Freshman Emily Wade set the ball for the Beavers' attack and totaled 14 assists and also paced the Beavers' defense with 12 digs for her second career double-double. Sophomore Lauren Justesen followed with 10 digs and freshman Lauren Sitter led the Beavers at the net with two blocks (1s-2a).
Bemidji State falls to 0-16 (0-8 NSIC) with the loss while the Concordia-St. Paul improved to 14-3 (8-0 NSIC). The Beavers continue play on the road this weekend and now travel to Mankato, Minn., to face Minnesota State University, Mankato Saturday at 2 p.m.
