Box Score BEMIDJI, Minn. (Sanford Center) -- St. Cloud State University scored the final four goals of the game Saturday, handing Bemidji State University a 4-1 loss in the 2020-21 season finale.
Lydia Passolt got the Beavers on the board early, netting her third goal of the season with help from fellow seniors Kara Werth and Clair DeGeorge at the 4:26 mark of the first period.
The lead would last just 29 seconds. At the 5:05 mark, Mackenzie Bourberie found the back of the net. Before the period came to a close, the Huskies grabbed the lead on a goal off the stick of Laura Kluge.
SCSU would go on to add a third goal from Allie Cornelius at the 2:40 mark of the second period and power-play goal off the stick of Jenniina Nylund at the 15:25 mark of the third frame to put the game out of reach.
Kerigan Dowhy got the start in net and turned aside 20 of the 24 shots she faced. She finishes her senior season with a record of 2-14-2.
Bemidji State earned four power plays in the game and failed to convert on all four of its opportunities while the Huskies went 1-for-4 with the extra skater.
The Beavers finish the season 2-16-2 overall.
