SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Bemidji State University volleyball team could not hold off (RV) Augustana falling in three sets, 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-18) in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play Saturday evening. The Vikings (12-4, 4-4 NSIC) were strong in all three sets out hitting the Beavers (3-13, 2-6 NSIC) .256 to .061.

Rylie Bjerklie led the Beavers on the attack tallying six kills,
Meeghen Dahlager and
Lauren Sitter follow behind with four a piece. Bjerkie also led BSU in hitting percentage with .417 coming from her 12 total attacks.
Hally Holker and
Emily Wade were assisting with the attacks. Holker assisted in 10 points and Wade with eight.

Annie Hopp came away with the only aces in the match for the Beavers with two in the three sets. Hopp also led the defense in digs with 12. Wade and
Ashley Crowl finishes with six and five digs respectively. Bjerklie did not just attack at the net she also led the team in blocks with five, Dahlager was one behind her in the match.

The Beavers have a short turn-around for their next match coming on Tuesday. Bemidji State will be back at the BSU Gymnasium as they take on the University of Minnesota Crookston at 6 p.m.
