Hannah Hogenson stopped 32-of-34 shots and sophomore
Claire Vekich scored the game-tying goal with 8:40 to play as the Bemidji State University rallied to force a 2-2 tie at No. 10 Clarkson University in their series finale Saturday afternoon.

Bemidji State opened the game with a power-play goal from
Ella Anick, her first of the season, 12:48 into the first period. However, just before the period's end, Clarkson scored the equalizing goal when Darcie Lappan netted a power-play goal with just 58 seconds left in the frame.

Clarkson carried that momentum into the second period and 2:35 into the middle frame, the Golden Knights took a 2-1 lead when Olivia Hanson scored.

The Golden Knights would head into the second intermission with the one-goal lead but 11:20 into the third period,
Claire Vekich fired the puck past goaltender Julia Minotti to tie the game.

Neither team would be able to score in the remaining time and after a scoreless, five-minute, three-on-three overtime period, the game ended in a 2-2 tie.

Clarkson out-shot the Beavers 34-19 in the game but Hogenson stood on her head and made 32 saves including 15 in the third period and five in overtime.

Senior
Paige Anderson paced the Beavers with two assists in the game while
Taylor Nelson and
Kayla Santl each earned an assist to join the goal scorers for points.

Bemidji State finished the game 1-for-2 while on the power play while its penalty kill was tremendous and turned away 6-of-7 of the Golden Knights opportunities.

The Beavers are now 2-1-1 on the season and will begin Western Collegiate Hockey Association play next weekend at University of Minnesota.
