BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Women's Soccer team secured home field advantage in the first round of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Soccer Tournament Sunday afternoon after playing to a 0-0 draw against Minot State University at Chet Anderson Stadium.

With the draw, the Beavers earned one point in the NSIC Standings and now sit with 31 on the season and secured a top-four seed in the NSIC postseason tournament. The Beavers are now 10-2-5 on the season and 9-1-4 in league play.

Bemidji State's opponent for the opening round of the tournament remains to be decided but will host the game at Chet Anderson Stadium on Halloween Monday at 5 p.m.

Bemidji State totaled 11 shots in the game but could only put four on goal while Minot State totaled six shots and three were on goal.

BSU's best chance of the game came in the 88
th minute when fifth-year senior
Erin Becker sent in a cross from the right side and found the foot of graduate student
Allyson Smith who hit the crossbar on the shot.

Senior goalkeeper
Georgiana Harber earned her second consecutive shutout in the game after she stopped all three shots by Minot State and now has four on the season. She remains undefeated and is 4-0-2.

The Beavers will conclude the 2022 regular season on the road next week when they travel to University of Minnesota Crookston for the regular season finale Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
