BEMIDJI, Minn. – The No. 21 Bemidji State University women's soccer team starts postseason play against the University of Mary for the first round of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women's Soccer Tournament.
The second-seed Beavers (11-2-5, 10-1-4 NSIC) host the seventh-seed Marauders (10-4-4, 7-4-4 NSIC) at Chet Anderson Stadium Monday, Oct. 31 at 5 p.m.

Ten days ago, the Beavers and Mary faced off in Bismarck, N.D., where Bemidji State earned a 2-0 victory. Fifth-year senior
Sara Wendt netted both goals in the match in the second half for the Beavers. BSU outshot the Marauders 14 to eight in the previous match. The Beavers have won the last six meetings against Mary but the overall recorded between the teams is tied at 12-12-2.
Wendt leads the team in points after a red hot second half of the season with 20 points coming from nine goals and two assists. Wendt finished the season second in the NSIC in goals and led the NSIC with game winning goals (5). Behind her at 13 points are
Allyson Smith and
Erin Becker both with five goals and three assists on the season.
Alyssa Stumbaugh has been in goal for 11 games this season with a record of 6-2-3. In all of Stumbaugh's wins she has posted a shutout saving 52 shots with a save percentage of .82.
Georgiana Harber has been in goal for seven games with a record of 5-0-2 with all five wins being shutouts. Harber has only allowed two goals this season with a save percent of .875.
