The two would connect again before the quarters end and with 22 seconds left in the half, Omayebu III added another touchdown reception this time from 12-yards out.
Â
The third quarter would be a defensive battle as neither team was able to score. However, the fourth quarter would be all Rams as they went on to score 20 points in the final 15 minutes. They started the scoring with a 47-yard field goal five minutes into the quarter and then Brayden Wilcox scored a rushing touchdown from seven-yards out with 5:20 to play.
Â
Trailing by 16, Bemidji State was pressing the pass and the nation's top defense keyed on that and went off to intercept the ball four times during the quarter including a pick-six with 3:07 to play.
Â
Bemidji State ends its 2022 campaign tying a program record with 10 wins and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division Champions and overall NSIC co-champions.
