BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University volleyball team officially gets its 2022 season underway this weekend by traveling to Marquette, Mich., to compete in the Northern Michigan Open on the campus of Northern Michigan University.

The Beavers open the tournament Friday, Aug. 26 by facing Cedarville University at 9 a.m. BSU will then face University of Central Oklahoma later that evening at 5 p.m. Bemidji State closes out the two-day tournament by facing Lake Superior State University and Northern Michigan at 3 p.m., and 7 p.m., Saturday.

Bemidji State was picked to finish 13
th in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate and returns 13 letter-winners from the 2021 season where the Beavers finished 2-26 and 14
th in the NSIC with a 2-18 league record. The Beavers also welcome five newcomers to the squad to round out their roster to 18 student-athletes.
