BEMIDJI, Minn. – After posting a scorching 11 points during November, Bemidji State Men's Hockey fifth-year senior
Kyle Looft has been tabbed as the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Defenseman of the Month for the second consecutive month.

Looft recorded 11 points off three goals and eight assists to lead all league defensemen in scoring during November and was twice named the CCHA Defenseman of the Week (Nov. 13 & Nov. 20) during the month. The Mankato, Minn., native posted two, three-point efforts both of which came in the Beavers' comeback victories against Michigan Technological University and Minnesota State University, Mankato.

He recorded a point in six-of-eight games during the month including a four-game point scoring streak from Nov. 3-11. He posted 24 shots on goal, blocked six shots defensively and held an even rating on the ice.

He is joined by Lake Superior State University's Jared Westcott (Forward), University of St. Thomas' Aaron Trotter (Goaltender) and Michigan Tech's Isaac Gordon (Rookie) as league players of the month.
