BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University freshman goaltender
Eva Filippova has been named the Sterling Trophy Western Collegiate Hockey Association Goaltender of the Week announced by the league Monday afternoon.

Â
Hailing from Russia, Filippova has been in net for both of the Beavers' wins this season and is 2-3-0 on the season with a .903 save percentage and 3.29 goals against average.
Â
She joins University of Wisconsin's Kirsten Simms (Forward), Ohio State University's Cayla Barnes (Defender) and St. Thomas' Ella Boerger (Rookie) as weekly league award winners.
