BSU Track and Field opens indoor season at Chuck Peterson Open

Both Tierra Doss and Natalie Fultz competed for the Beavers

MANKATO, Minn. – The indoor season officially began for the Bemidji State University Track and Field team on Saturday when both Tierra Doss and Natalie Fultz competed in the Chuck Peterson Open on Saturday.

Doss won the shot put out of 20 competitors hitting a mark of 45-03.50. Fultz also competed in the event hitting a distance of 31-10.25 to place 16th.

Fultz also entered in the high jump where she placed fifth out of 12. Fultz cleared 5-01.00.

Bemidji State will now prepare for the St. Scholastica Open that will take place next Saturday (Dec. 9) in Duluth, Wis.
