Kevin Ulmer announced the addition of Fargo South High School middle blocker
Emma Dalby (Fargo, N.D.) to the Beavers' 2023 recruiting class.

Dalby joins four student-athletes who all signed National Letters of Intent to attend Bemidji State and play volleyball for the Beavers next fall. Lillian Bandle, Hannah Kos, Katrina Thompson, Sidney Wissbrod and now Dalby will all be incoming freshmen for the Beavers.

Emma Dalby – 5-11 – MB– Fargo, N.D. (Fargo South HS)
Dalby is a four-year letterwinner for the Fargo South High School Bruins volleyball program… She was selected to the All-State Team twice… Named the Eastern Dakota Conference Senior of the Year in 2022-23 and a two-time All-EDC First Team selection… Helped the Bruins to a seventh-place finish at the 2022 NDHSAA Class A Volleyball State Tournament… A two-year captain for the Bruins and reach 1,000 kills in her high school career.

Personal: Daughter of Josh and Amy Dalby… Born on Dec. 22, 2004… Plans to major in Forensic Psychology while attending Bemidji State.

Coach Ulmer on Dalby: "Emma is a hard-working middle blocker with great defensive effort and ability to close blocks. She has a high volleyball IQ and a lot of potential to grow within our league and contribute at a high level!"
