BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Volleyball team officially makes its return to the court September 1 as head coach
Kevin Ulmer announced the program's 2023 schedule Friday. The 54
th season for the BSU Volleyball program will feature 26 matches beginning Sept. 1-2 at the Ray Thrasher Classic hosted by Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn.

The 2023 season will feature eight non-conference matches before beginning Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play for 18 league-matches starting Sept. 15.

The Beavers will begin the 2023 season with four matches at the Ray Thrasher Classic in Nashville and will face non-conference opponents Lynn University, University of Alabama-Huntsville, University of Missouri-St. Louis and host institution Trevecca Nazarene, Sept. 1-2.

BSU will then make the trip west to Colorado Springs, Colo., to compete at the Mountain Lion Classic hosted by University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, Sept. 8-9. The Beavers will play four matches at the tournament to conclude non-conference play facing Western Oregon University, Saint Martin's University, hosts Colorado-Colorado Springs, and Western Colorado University.

Bemidji State will begin conference play on the road traveling to Minnesota State University, Moorhead and Northern State University, Sept. 15-16. The Beavers will then host its first home matches of the season to start a four-match homestand. BSU will first host University of Mary and Minot State University Sept. 22-23 to begin the homestand followed by University of Sioux Falls and University of Minnesota Duluth Sept. 29 and Oct. 3.

BSU will spend the next three matches on the road facing Wayne State College (Oct. 6), Augustana University (Oct. 7) and University of Minnesota, Crookston (Oct. 12) before returning home for three matches against St. Cloud State University (Oct. 14), Southwest Minnesota State University (Oct. 20) and Winona State University (Oct. 21).

The Beavers will conclude play in October on the road at Concordia University-St. Paul (Oct. 27) and Minnesota State University, Mankato (Oct. 28) before its final home matches of the season Nov. 3-4 against Augustana and Wayne State College.

BSU concludes the 2023 regular season Nov. 10-11 at Minot State and Mary.

The eight-team postseason NSIC Volleyball Tournament is set to begin the following weekend and will run from Nov. 17-19.
