BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Men's Hockey junior netminder Mattias Sholl earned his second Central Collegiate Hockey Association Goaltender of the Week accolade of the season announced by the league Monday afternoon.
 
Sholl backstopped the Beavers to two points at Michigan Technological University turning aside 74-of-78 shots over the weekend including the second most saves in his career, 46, in Saturday's 2-2 shootout victory. He turned away 28 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Huskies on Friday and helped the BSU penalty kill to a 5-for-6 weekend in which he saved 12-of-13 shots while shorthanded. 
 
The Hermosa Beach, Calif., native earns his second CCHA weekly accolade of the season and the fifth of his career.
 
He was joined by Minnesota State University, Mankato's Lucas Sowder (Forward), Ferris State University's Travis Shoudy (Defenseman) and Michigan Tech's Isaac Gordon (Rookie) as league players of the week.
