BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Women's Hockey senior defender
Khloe Lund earned her second Western Collegiate Hockey Association Defender of the Week award announced by the league Monday afternoon.

Lund helped the Beavers to a competitive weekend against the fourth/fifth ranked Gophers by scoring the lone Beaver goal in the series in Saturday's 3-1 loss while also leading the team with seven shots on goal and eight blocked shots. In Saturday's game she scored her second goal of the season while also setting career highs in shots (5) and blocked shots (5).

It is the second time this season and second of her career that the Thief River Falls, Minn., native has been named the league's Defender of the Week.

She is joined by Wisconsin's Casey O'Brien (Forward) and Cassie Hall (Rookie) as well as Ohio State's Amanda Thiele (Goaltender) as the league's players of the week.
