BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University volleyball team fell in four sets to University of Minnesota Crookston Thursday night at the BSU Gymnasium in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play. The Beavers fell 24-26, 25-17, 23-25 and 13-25 in the match and now fall to 5-10 on the season and 0-7 in league play.

Senior
Ashley Crowl led the Beavers with 15 kills while senior
Lauren Sitter added nine and fifth-year senior
Rylie Bjerklie added seven. The Beavers' best set in the match was the second set as BSU hit .371 as a team with 14 kills on 35 attacks and committed just one hitting error.

Sitter paced the team hitting at a .250 efficiency with nine kills on 28 attacks and just two errors.

Senior
Emily Wade earned 36 assists setting the Beavers attack and added three kills while also earning eight digs defensively.

Bjerklie led the Beavers at the net recording eight blocks (5s-3a) to tie a career-high she previously matched on Sept. 26. She was followed by freshman
Ava Athman with three blocks (2s-1a), the most in her career.

In the backcourt, junior libero
Jada Wlodarczyk led the Beavers recording 17 digs while Crowl and junior
Kylie Struble each added 14.

The Beavers will now travel south to St. Cloud, Minn., to face No. 5 St. Cloud State Saturday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m.
