BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Women's Soccer team will hit the road for a pair of key Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matches this weekend when it travels to face Wayne State College and Augustana University.

The Beavers kick-off the weekend's action Friday, Oct. 25 with a match against the Wildcats set for 3 p.m. BSU will then travel to Sioux Falls, S.D., to face the Vikings Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Each match will be streamed online at
www.nsicnetwork.com/bsubeavers.

With the 2024 regular season winding down, the Beavers need all the league points they can get and are currently tied for second in the NSIC standings with 19 league points. The Beavers are tied with Augustana for second in the standings while the Wildcats are close behind with 12 points and are playing for a spot in the NSIC Tournament sitting one spot out in ninth.

The Beavers are led by junior
Katrina Barthelt who is tied for the league's lead with seven goals and has added two assists for 16 points. She is followed by freshman
Madisen Fritel who has two goals and two assists and sophomore
Madeline Davey with two goals.

Graduate
Sonia Alfieri is the Beavers' goalkeeper and is 8-4-1 after starting 12 of the team's 13 games. She has five shutouts and 41 saves while posting a 41 0.67 goals against average and .837 save percentage.
