MADISON, Wis. – No. 1 University of Wisconsin completed the Western Collegiate Hockey Association series sweep of the Bemidji State University Women's Hockey team Friday night with a 6-0 victory.

Kaitlin Groess stopped 44 shots for the Beavers, the second most in her career, and turned aside all 16 shots she faced in the third period.

The Beavers fall to 1-8-1 on the season and 0-6-0 in conference play but return home and host University of Minnesota next weekend at Sanford Center.
