BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Athletics has partnered with Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union to match donations made to the NSIC Volleyball Rally for the Ulmer Family Fundraiser to support the Ulmer family to help cover expenses from the passing of Beaver Volleyball head coach
Kevin Ulmer earlier this season.

Representatives from Affinity Plus will be at the Bemidji State Volleyball matches this weekend and will match donations made to the fundraiser during November 1-2, up to $2500. The NSIC Volleyball Rally for the Ulmer Family Fundraiser can be found at:

The Beavers host Northern State University (Nov. 1) and Minnesota State University, Moorhead (Nov. 2) for two matches this weekend. First serve for each game is slated for 6:00 p.m., Friday and 4:00 p.m., Saturday at the BSU Gymnasium.

Kevin Ulmer passed away September 17 from a long battle with cancer. He was head coach of the Beaver Volleyball program for nine seasons where he guided 62 student-athletes to their successes on and off the court. Grateful to have shared his life are his wife Kate and their three daughter; and the entire Ulmer family.
