BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State Women's Soccer team makes its return to Chet Anderson Stadium this weekend and plays host to Winona State University and Southwest Minnesota State University Friday and Sunday. The Beavers will recognize its parents in part of Parent's Night Friday evening and will then honor its six seniors in part of Senior Day Sunday.

Friday's match will kick-off at 4:00 p.m., with Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. Both matches will be streamed online at
www.NSICNetwork.com/bsubeavers while Sunday will have a radio broadcast provided by the Beaver Radio Network online or at FM 94.3.

The Beavers' six seniors are
Lauren Hodny,
Anna Breffle,
Lili Wade,
Maria Stocke,
Lauren Harrison and
Miah Olson.

Bemidji State enters the weekend 4-3-0 and are seventh in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference standings with a 2-1-0 league record. Winona State is 2-3-1 (1-3-0 NSIC) to start the season while the Mustangs are 0-6-1 (0-2-1 NSIC).

The Beavers rank second in the league having scored 12 goals through seven games but lead the conference averaging 1.714 goals per game.

Junior
Katrina Barthelt leads the team and the conference having scoring five goals through the Beavers' first seven games. She has 11 points on the season (5g-1a) which is also the most in the conference. The Beavers have seen eight different goal scorers this season with seven having scored one goal. Freshman
Sydney Sutherland follows Barthelt with three points after having scored a goal and added an assist.

Graduate goalkeeper
Sonia Alfieri is 4-3-0 in between the pipes for the Beavers in her first season. In 585 minutes, she has allowed just five goals and made 21 saves for a 0.77 goals against average and .808 save percentage.
