BEMIDJI, Minn. – No. 6 Wayne State College earned a three-set victory over the Bemidji State University Volleyball team Saturday afternoon at the BSU Gymnasium. The Wildcats (12-2, 6-0 NSIC) downed the Beavers (5-7, 0-4 NSIC) by scores of 21-25, 17-25 and 15-25.

Senior
Ashley Crowl led the Beavers totaling 13 kills and hit .265 in the match while fifth-year senior
Rylie Bjerklie followed with 11 kills and hit .375. The Beavers hit .187 as a team totaling 39 kills on 107 attacks and had 19 attack errors. Senior
Emily Wade totaled 34 assists setting the ball for the Beavers' attack.

Jada Wlodarczyk led the Beavers' backcourt with 21 digs, tying a career high while Bjerklie earned the only two blocks for the Beavers.

Freshman
Ava Athman led the Beavers on the serve earning three.

The Beavers will now hit the road and travel to Minnesota State University, Moorhead for a Tuesday match in Moorhead, Minn.
