MARSHALL, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Volleyball team took set one on the road at No. 16 Southwest Minnesota State University but the Mustangs battle back to win the next three and earn the four-set victory Saturday afternoon in Marshall, Minn. After a 25-23 victory in the first set, SMSU rallied to win the next three sets by scores of 6-25, 19-25 and 22-25.

Fifth-year senior
Rylie Bjerklie led the Beavers with 11 kills in the match while hitting .269 off 26 attacks. The Beavers totaled 37 kills as a team while freshman
Lily Riese paced BSU hitting .308 with seven kills off 13 attacks.

Emily Wade earned 30 assists coordinating the Beavers' attack for her 15
th match with 30 or more assists.

Kylie Struble led the Beavers' backcourt totaling 12 digs while a total of four Beavers reached double digits in digs. She was followed by Wade (11),
Ashley Crowl (11) and
Lauren Sitter (10).

The Beavers now return home and prepare to host their final matches of the 2024 season next weekend. BSU hosts Minnesota State University, Mankato Nov. 15 before ending the season Saturday against Concordia University-St. Paul.
