Eric Pohlkamp were named Central Collegiate Hockey Association Players of the Week announced by the league Monday afternoon after the pair helped the Beavers earn five points in league standings at Northern Michigan University.

Flammang was tabbed the leagues' Forward of the Week to earn the award for the first time in his career while Pohlkamp was selected as the leagues' Defenseman and Rookie of the Week earning defenseman honors for the first time and rookie honors for the second.

Flammang paced all CCHA skaters with four points last week, scoring three goals with one assist. Registering a league-best +3 rating, the St. Michael, Minn., native had one game-winning goal, six shots and one block at the defensive end of the ice. On Friday, he netted the game-winning tally, plus an assist, in a 4-2 victory over the Wildcats. He then notched his first career two-goal game in a 3-3 tie, before Bemidji State took the bonus point in a shootout.

Pohlkamp led CCHA defensemen and rookies in points (3) and goals (2) last week, helping Bemidji State to a five-point road weekend. Posting a +1 rating, he had one power play tally, five shots on goal and three blocks at the defensive end of the ice. On Friday, he had a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win over Northern Michigan. The Brainerd, Minn., native then scored in a 3-3 tie with the Wildcats, before the Beavers claimed the shootout win.

The pair were joined by Bowling Green's Cole Moore as the league's Goaltender of the Week.
