BEMIDJI, Minn. – After helping the Bemidji State University Men's Hockey team to a five-point weekend over Ferris State University, junior forward
Jere Vaisanen has been named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Forward of the Week announced by the league Monday afternoon.

Vaisanen led the Beavers to their second consecutive five-point weekend recording three points off two goals and an assist versus the Bulldogs. He began the series by scoring a goal and adding an assist for his second multi-point effort of the season Thursday night including assisting on the game-winning, overtime goal. The Espoo, Finland native thenfFollowed by scoring the Beavers' fourth goal in their 4-1 victory Friday night to complete the series sweep over the Bulldogs. He finished the weekend with a +2 rating on the ice and took three shots on goal.

This is the second career weekly nod for Vaisanen and the first since being named the CCHA Rookie of the Week in 2021-22.
