BEMIDJI, Minn. – In the final Central Collegiate Hockey Association weekly awards for the 2023-24 season, Bemidji State Men's Hockey freshman
Eric Pohlkamp was named the league's Defenseman of the Week announced Monday afternoon.

The All-CCHA First Team and Rookie Team selection earns his third CCHA Defenseman of the Week accolade and twice was named the league's Rookie of the Week during the season.

Pohlkamp helped Bemidji State extend its unbeaten streak to 11 games (10-0-1) last week, scoring a goal in a 4-1 victory over Lake Superior State in the Mason Cup Semifinals. Finishing at +2 on the night, he recorded four shots on goal and one block at the defensive end of the ice.Â

He was joined by Michigan Tech's Logan Pietila (Forward) and Max Koskipirtti (Rookie) and Lake Superior State's Ethan Langenegger (Goaltender) as players of the week.
