BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Baseball team fell in each game of its three-game, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference series with Concordia University-St. Paul this weekend at the BSU Baseball Field.
The Golden Bears (24-20, 16-19 NSIC) earned three victories by scores of 17-5, 16-4 and 14-0 Sunday afternoon.
Senior
Jack Munson led the Beavers collecting five hits in 11 at bats with two home runs and drove in three of the Beavers' nine runs. He was followed by freshmen
Beau Thoma,
Dylan Hedley and
Matt Filippi who each collected four hits.
Junior
Brandon Lind had the best pitching performance for the Beavers Sunday afternoon going 4.2 innings and struck out six batters while allowing four runs (three earned) off seven hits. Lind,
Lucas Pierce and Hedley each earned losses on the mound.
Bemidji State is scheduled to play its final home series Tuesday, April 30 and hosts Minot State University for a doubleheader beginning at 1:30 p.m.
