SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Bemidji State University Baseball team fell in both games of its doubleheader against University of Sioux Falls in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play Saturday afternoon to end their four-game series. The Beavers fell 22-5 in game one and then 9-0 in game two.
Junior
Zach Evenson hit his team-leading fourth home run of the season in game one to score three of the Beavers' five runs.
Matt Filippi and
Beau Thoma drove in the other two runs with RBI singles.
The Beavers now return home and weather permitting, will make their home debut Wednesday, April 10 against University of Minnesota Duluth at BSU Baseball Field.
