BEMIDJI, Minn. – For the first time this season, Bemidji State University Women's Soccer junior
Katrina Barthelt was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week announced Monday, Sept. 16.

Barthelt led the Beavers to a 2-0 weekend at Upper Iowa University by scoring a team-high three goals for a total of six points. She also recorded 13 shots, seven on goal, a team high. She began the weekend scoring the equalizing goal in the 76
th minute that propelled the Beavers to a 2-1 victory over Quincy University Friday night. She then scored two goals in the Beavers' 5-1 win over Upper Iowa Sunday for her third career two-goal performance.

This is the Bartlett, Ill., second career weekly accolade from the conference and her first of 2024. She was joined by University of Mary's Allison Lepp as Defensive Player of the Week and University of Minnesota, Crookston's Jordan Metz as Goalkeeper of the Week.

Barthelt and the Beavers return to Chet Anderson Stadium Friday evening to begin NSIC play against Minnesota Crookston Friday, Sept. 20 at 4 p.m. They will then travel to St. Cloud, Minn., to battle St. Cloud State University, Sunday.
