COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Bemidji State University Women's Hockey team fell 6-0 at No. 2 Ohio State University Friday afternoon in game one of their Western Collegiate Hockey Association series in Columbus, Ohio.

Freshman goaltender
Kaitlin Groess made 38 saves for the Beavers but Ohio State's Jocelyn Amos netted four goals to power the Buckeyes to victory.

Heidi Strompf led the Beavers with four shots while blocking three in the defensive zone.

The Beavers and Buckeyes will be back in action tomorrow afternoon for game two at OSU Ice Rink. Puck drop is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CST.
