BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Men's Hockey junior defenseman
Patrik Satosaari was named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Defenseman of the Month for December. Satosaari earns his first CCHA accolade from the league and is the team's first player of the month this season.

The Lahti, Finland native led CCHA defenseman with three goals in five December contests while also dishing out one assist for four points. He was +1 rating for the month, with eight shots on goal and 10 blocks defensively. He had two, two-point efforts during the month including a career first two-goal game against Michigan Tech on Dec. 14.

Satosaari is joined by Michigan Tech's Stiven Sardarian (Forward) and Logan Morrell (Rookie) and Bowling Green's Christian Stoever (Goaltender) as league monthly award winners.
