BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Cross Country travels to Jamestown, N.D. for the Jimmie Invitational, hosted by the University of Jamestown Friday. The race kicks off at 10:10 a.m. at the Parkhurst Campground in Jamestown.
Two weeks ago, the Beavers competed at the 2025 Roy Griak Invitational where they finished 16
th overall with one runner,
Maggie McCarthy taking 25
th at 24:13.8. The Beavers started the season in early September with the Augie Twilight, finishing 14
th of 26 teams with all seven runners marking personal bests in the 5K race. McCarthy has consistently led the team this season, finishing 25
th two weeks ago and 60
th at the Augie Twilight.
This week's race will prepare the team for the 6,000-meter Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships on Oct. 24 in Wayne, Neb. The race is slated for 12 p.m. at the Wayne Country Club.
