BEMIDJI, Minn. — The Bemidji State University Women's Soccer team brings its six-match unbeaten streak back to Chet Anderson Stadium this weekend for a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matches against Concordia University-St. Paul and Winona State University.

The Beavers (8-2-3, 6-1-3 NSIC) begin the weekend by hosting the team that ended their 2024 season in the Golden Bears (8-2-3, 5-2-3 NSIC) Friday, Oct. 24 at 5 p.m. BSU then hosts Winona State (5-4-3, 4-4-2 NSIC) Sunday at 1 p.m.

Bemidji State enters the weekend's action tied for third in the conference standings with 21 points while CSP is close behind in fourth with 18 points and the Warriors will be fighting for playoff positioning holding 14 points and tied for eighth.

The Beavers are 14-12-3 all-time against the Golden Bears but just 1-3-1 over their last five matches. BSU is holding a 12-match unbeaten streak (10-0-2) against the Warriors and are 12-18-3 all-time in the series.

Bemidji State is led by senior
Katrina Barthelt who was named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week on October 20 after a seven-point weekend against Minnesota Crookston and MSU Moorhead. Barthelt is tied for the conference's lead in points with 24 and is second in the NSIC having scored 10 goals this season. She is tied for 12
th in Division II in each statistical category. She is two points and two goals shy of tying career marks for the Bartlett, Ill., native and ranks fourth in program history in career goals (35) and sixth in points (79).

Senior goalkeeper
Sonia Alfieri has started seven of 13 matches this season, is 5-0-2 and is third in the NSIC with a .602 goals against average and second with a .882 save percentage. Her save percentage of .882 on the season is the fifth-best single-season save percentage in program history.
