  • The Beavers face their third-straight ranked opponent this weekend in the No. 10 Huskies.
  • Bemidji State has faced a ranked opponent in five-of-seven series in the first two months of the season.
  • BSU is looking to bounce-back after being swept by No. 2 University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
  • The Beavers were outscored 15-4 in the series falling 2-6 in game one and 2-9 in game two.
  • Sophomore Morgan Smith led the Beavers scoring two goals in the season while Isa Goettl (1g-1a), Izy Fairchild (2a) and Kate Johnson (2a) each had two points.
  • Smith continues to lead the Beavers in her second season after leading the Beavers during her freshman year.
  • This season, she has totaled nine points (4g-5a) in 12 games after posting 20 points (11g-9a) in 37 games in 2024-25.
  • Her career goals per game average of 0.31 is the sixth best in BSU history.
  • She is followed by junior Kate Johnson who has eight points (1g-7a) in 12 games. She is three points shy of tying a career-best for the Warroad, Minn., native.
  • Bemidji State has five skaters with five or more points this season including sophomore Izy Fairchild.
  • After a slow start to the season, Fairchild has a three-game point streak with three points over the last three games (1g-2a).
  • Fairchild and Smith each lead the team with a current three-game point streak.
  • BSU's blueline has been led by junior St. Cloud State transfer Carmen Bray who has recorded four assists in her first season with the Beavers.
  • She snapped a six-game point-less streak with an assist in game one against the second-ranked Gophers last weekend.

  • However, she lost three of her top point-getters from the blueline from the 2024-25 season.
