BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association announced its list of student-athletes who have earned WCHA the WCHA Scholar-Athlete Award and 13 from the Bemidji State University Women's Hockey team were recognized by the league announced Thursday afternoon.
 
Representing all eight WCHA member institutions, the WCHA Scholar-Athlete teams include student-athletes who have a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale in their previous two semesters or three-quarters and who have achieved at least sophomore status in their academic careers.
 
The Beavers were second in the league with 13 selected as league's Scholar-Athletes behind Minnesota State's 19.
