MADISON, Wis. – The 2024-24 Bemidji State Women's Hockey season came to an end Saturday afternoon as No. 1 University of Wisconsin secured the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Playoff First Round victory with an 11-0 win at LaBahn Arena in Madison, Wis.
The Beavers end the 2024-25 season with a 6-30-1 record. The collegiate careers of seven seniors
Makenna Deering,
Meredith Killian,
Shelby Breiland,
Genevieve Hendrickson,
Alyssa Watkins,
Kendra Fortin and
Josie Bothun came to an end.
Wisconsin now advances to the 2025 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff next weekend held at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth, Minn.
Bemidji State now looks to the 2025-26 season and is set to return eight of its top-10 scorers including its top four in
Morgan Smith,
Hailey Armstrong,
Isa Goettl and
Kate Johnson.
