MANKATO, Minn. – Bemidji State University Track and Field finished the indoor season with a 12
th-place finish at the 2025 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships in Mankato, Minn.
The Beavers started competition with student-athletes participating in pole vault, weight throw and distance medley Friday afternoon. The distance medley team of
Carol Miller,
Makenna Frazier,
Sophie Rylance and
Maggie McCarthy finishing in eighth with a time of 12:34.70.
Olivia Olson grabbed 15
th in the pole vault with a vault of 3.29 meters. Rounding out the day,
Mikenna Pattrin continued to dominate in the weight throw circle with a seventh-place, personal-best distance of 16.42 meters, taking 75
th in the NCAA Division II Indoor Top 100 throws.
Maya Wagner followed suit with a personal best throw of 15.16 meters. Both throwers threw back-to-back personal bests on their first and second throws.
On Saturday, Mille Rosaeg kicked things off with the pentathlon where she finished 11
th. Rosaeg found personal bests in the high jump at 1.50 meters (4-11.00) and the 800-meter run with a time of 2:46.55.
Carol Miller took to the track for the women's one miler where the senior finished 14
th with a time of 5:29.52.
Maggie McCarthy was the Beavers' lone entry in the 3000-meter run, marking a personal best of 10:25.33. Rounding out events on the track, the 4x400 team, comprised of
Josie Aitken, Kylee Morton,
Sophie Rylance and
Makenna Frazier, took 13
th with a season best of 4:09.12.
Mikenna Pattrin,
Zayda Priebe and
Trista Bilden took to the shot put circle, taking home fifth, 18
th and 20
th, respectively.
The Beavers now spend some time on a short break before returning to action and kicking off the outdoor season.
