In game two, Payton Prissel made a brief appearance on the mound, tossing one pitch before returning to the dugout due to injury. Elle Hastings pitched the remainder of the inning and the first out of the second, conceding five hits and five earned runs, including one double and one home run, while facing nine batters. Danica Sarff contributed 2 2/3 innings, giving up seven hits and three earned runs, but managed to strike out five batters.
