DECORAH, Iowa – Bemidji State University Track and Field finished the Norse Invite, hosted by Luther College, with a handful of NCAA, personal and season bests.
Starting off with the 100-meter hurdles, Mille Rosaeg dominated the field in a first-place, personal record and NCAA Division II No. 88 finish of 15.10 seconds. In the 3000-meter steeplechase,
Maggie McCarthy also took home first, with a NCAA Division II No. 97 finish at 11:57.45.
On the field side,
Zayda Priebe continued her success in discus throw from last week, this time taking second with her season best and NCAA DII No. 50 throw of 43.23 meters.
Trista Bilden and
Emma Green also marked personal bests in the event with
Elle Bettcher and
Zoe Lennon tabbing season highs. In the javelin throw lineup,
Mikenna Pattrin took first for the second meet in a row, marking a distance of 35.88 meters. Two other Beavers also landed in the top five with
Trista Bilden at No. 3 and
Zayda Priebe with a season best at No. 4. Pattrin also took second in the women's shot-put competition with a NCAA Division II No. 66 throw of 12.85 meters.
The Beavers now prepare for the Minnesota State University Mankato Open and North Dakota State University Invitational next weekend. Live results and times will be available on Wayzata Timing via the links on the BSU Beavers website.
