Bemidji State Men's and Women's Hockey Launches the “Friends of Beaver Hockey” Program

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Men's and Women's Hockey and the BSU Alumni & Foundation are proud to announce the official launch of the Friends of Beaver Hockey program—an exciting new initiative aimed at strengthening the tradition, excellence, and future of Beaver Men's and Women's Hockey.

The Friends of Beaver Hockey program provides alumni, fans, and community members with the opportunity to make a direct impact on the program through annual, major, or planned giving. Contributions support key areas including operational costs, Alston educational awards for student-athletes, scholarships, and facility enhancements.

Donors to the Friends of Beaver Hockey program will enjoy exclusive benefits such as:
  • Special communications from the BSU Men's and Women's Hockey coaching staff
  • Invitations to private program events and donor receptions
  • Recognition opportunities
  • Direct engagement with student-athletes throughout the year
Giving levels for the program start with annual gifts of $100 and up, to major gifts that support everything from scholarships, equipment, educational expenses, and facility enhancements. Whether you're sponsoring a player's equipment, contributing to Alston academic awards for Beaver Hockey student-athletes, or leaving a legacy through planned giving, there's a way for every Beaver Hockey supporter to be part of the team's success. With this program, supporters can choose which program they would like to designate their gifts to.

"This program brings our supporters closer to the program than ever before," said Jesse Katz, Director of Athletic Giving & Sponsorships. "The Friends of Beaver Hockey program allows donors to connect with our student-athletes, support our pursuit of excellence, and ensure the program continues to thrive for years to come."
