KENOSHA, Wis. — Bemidji State University volleyball travels to Kenosha, Wis. for the three-day, four-match Hampton Inn Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin Parkside Thursday to Saturday. 
 
The Beavers start with a match against Roosevelt University Thursday evening at 5 p.m. This will be the first time in history the two teams have met with BSU entering at 0-4 and RU at 1-3. Friday has a full schedule for the Beavers starting the day at 9 a.m. with Missouri University of Science and Technology followed by McKendree University at 2 p.m. They'll complete the weekend Saturday afternoon with the host UW-Parkside at 1:30 p.m.
 
Last weekend, BSU competed in the Eckerd Classic in St. Petersburg, Fla. and fought through 17 sets across four matches with two going to a full five sets. Though the Beavers lost all four, the team put up strong numbers with sophomore pin Ava Athman making the All-Tournament Team. 
 
Next week, Bemidji State hosts the first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games of the season with Southwest Minnesota State University Friday at 6 p.m. and University of Sioux Falls Saturday at 4 p.m. All NSIC games are available on the NSIC Network.
