Katrina Barthelt has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Barthelt earns her first weekly accolade from the NSIC of the season and the fifth of her career.

The Bartlett, Ill., native helped the Beavers earn a 3-1 comeback victory at Minnesota Duluth by scoring two goals and assisted on another to record her third career five-point match. Barthelt assisted on the game-tying goal early in the second half then just five minutes later, scored the eventual game-winning goal. She sealed the Beaver victory with a penalty-kick goal with 26 minutes remaining to cap-off her fifth career multi-goal match.

Barthelt is tied for the NSIC lead with three goals on the season and leads the league with seven points. She is tied for the conference lead and tied for third in the nation with two game-winning goals already this season.

Barthelt and the Beavers prepare for their first home matches of the season this weekend and play host to Southwest Minnesota State University and University of Sioux Falls Sept. 19 and 21 at Chet Anderson Stadium.
