WAYNE, Neb. — No. 14 Wayne State College (11-2, 5-0 NSIC) defeated the Bemidji State University Volleyball team (3-10, 0-5 NSIC) in straight sets at Rice Auditorium Saturday in Wayne, Neb., with scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-13.

Grace Hoffard led Bemidji State with eight kills and contributed four block assists, totaling 10 points.
Madison Tripp facilitated the offense by recording 16 assists and added seven digs in the match.
Ava Boelter made a defensive impact with 11 digs, while also serving two aces.
Kylie Struble fortified the backline with 11 digs and chipped in with three assists.

The first set between Bemidji State and the Wildcats began with a tightly contested exchange, as each team sought to establish momentum. The Wildcats capitalized on multiple attack errors from the Beavers to build a lead, with significant contributions from Delaney Miller, who notched several kills including a pivotal one at 24-18. Bemidji State's effort to close the gap included service aces from
Ava Boelter, but they struggled with consistency falling 25-18 in set one.

The Wildcats maintained control throughout the second set against BSU ultimately winning 25-17.

The Wildcats secured the third set with a decisive 25-13 victory. The Wildcats started strong, with Chloe Hanel notching two early kills and Reese Johnson contributing a service ace, leading to a 6-1 advantage. Bemidji State managed to respond with a few points, including kills by
Grace Hoffard, but attack errors hindered their momentum. The set concluded at 25-13 when an attack error by
Nevaeh Carlson sealed the win for the Wildcats.

Bemidji State now holds a record of 3-10 overall and 0-5 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play. Wayne State stands at 11-2 overall and 5-0 in the NSIC.
