Beaver Baseball to begin 75th season Feb. 13

BSU Baseball set to open 2026 slate Feb. 13-15 against Augustana

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Baseball head coach Matt Ellinghuysen announced Wednesday afternoon the Beavers full 2026 slate and will begin Feb. 13 with a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference series against Augustana University in Omaha, Neb. 2026 will be the 75th season of Beaver Baseball at Bemidji State.
 
The Beavers will play a 50-game slate in 2026 with 37 games in NSIC play. 11 series will be played on the road or at a neutral site while five will be hosted at the Beavers home ballpark at the BSU Baseball Field.
 
Bemidji State begins the fresh season jumping into NSIC action against Augustana with a four-game series at Creighton Prep Baseball Field in Omaha, Neb., Feb. 13-15. The Beavers then travel to Kansas City, Mo., for a four-game non-conference series at Rockhurst University, Feb. 20-22. BSU continues, non-conference play in Missouri with a four-game series at William Jewell College Feb. 27-Mar. 1.
 
The Beavers then jump back into NSIC play with a neutral site series against Northern State University Mar. 3-4 at Ronken Field in Sioux Falls, S.D. They will then make a special trip to Minneapolis, Minn., to face St. Cloud State University for a three-game series at U.S. Bank Stadium marking the Beavers return to U.S. Bank Stadium for the first time since 2020.
 
Bemidji State continues play in March traveling to Winona State University March 21-22 to play four games against the Warriors. Beavers continue play on the road at Wayne State college March 28-29 before wrapping up play in the month and making their home debut March 31 for a doubleheader against Southwest Minnesota State University.
 
The Beavers then host defending NSIC champions Minnesota State University, Mankato April 3-4 for three games before making a road trip to new conference member Jamestown University April 8 for a doubleheader.
 
BSU returns home April 15 for a doubleheader against University of Minnesota Duluth and then travels to University of Sioux Falls for a three-game series April 18-19. Bemidji State then begins a six-game home stand April 22 by hosting University of Minnesota, Crookston for a doubleheader and hosts Minot State University April 25-26 for four games.
 
Bemidji State concludes the 2026 regular season with a five-game road trip beginning with a doubleheader at University of Mary April 28 before concluding the season at Concordia University-St. Paul May 1-2.
 
The Beavers will attempt to qualify for the NSIC Tournament for the first time since 2013 which is set to begin May 6-9 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
